Netflix: Disenchantment
We were tasked with coming up with a radical and disruptive marketing campaign for Netflix’s new Matt Groenig (The Simpsons) animated show titled “Disenchantment". We turned fans' fave websites medieval, with new takes on long-dead topics like serfdom and burning castles. We also turned New York hot dogs carts into medieval street vendors hawking chargrilled turkey legs, and printed jokes on toilet paper.
Results: 30-plus pieces of content drove 259 million earned impressions, 3x benchmark engagement

Netflix: Daredevil
To grow viewership and social conversation for season 3 of Netflix’s Daredevil, we successfully ideated a branded Complex mini documentary featuring Ronald Dlamini; a champion boxer turned real-life Daredevil. We came up with the documentary premise, wrote the original script, and presented the concept to Netflix marketing leadership. Upon approval, Complex and the R+D team project-managed the execution on behalf of Netflix.
Results: 5.4 million Impressions, 1.1 million video videos, 80K social engagement - 3x higher than benchmark

Netflix: Umbrella Academy
For the Netflix original show Umbrella Academy, we ideated and executed the most emo media campaign of all time to drive word of mouth, social chatter, and earned media for the series launch. The campaign included an emo-themed wedding, a 60-foot black umbrella OOH installation in Bryant Park, emo themed bar media, and an umbrella-clad flashmob in New York City.
Results: 23+ pieces of earned media coverage drove 20 million earned impressions, 5x the value of our paid media

Responsible for conceptualization, presentation, and execution of creative marketing ideas, branded content programs, partner marketing, and guerrilla activation strategy for 30+ Netflix original titles
Created social media content including copywriting, graphic design, and social engagement plans
Contributed to innovative communications strategy including influencer identification and trendspotting
